Some of our friends experienced not so nice contacts with clients or prospects this week. Be it by phone or live, we have some suggestions on how to cope with rude people.
The best thing to do is SING. It is a stress relief & brings over a good mood. No need to have a Maria Callas voice, just GO GO GO.
So whenever you have a prospect/client on the phone & he/she is a PAIN, start to sing:
- "Isn't she loooooooooooovely" - Stevie Wonder
- "Wind of Change" - The Scorpions
- "Did I tell you how much I love you" - Can't rember who sings this.
Alternatively go for "Blue eyes, Baby's got Blue eyese" - Elton John.
Not bad if you do this in open space. Just imagine the look on your colleagues faces...
